As a brand, our focus has always been on encouraging people to start adopting a healthy lifestyle and to create awareness about the hazardous effects of single-use plastic and how it is eating out our planet. Ecoware focused on spreading awareness about how important it is for everyone to adopt a healthy lifestyle in 2020. Our Founder & CEO, Mrs. Rhea Mazumdar Singhal attended many seminars, college events, and podcasts (of course virtually) to inform students and people about how important it is to stop the usage of single-use plastic and start using biodegradable products.
She shared facts about how Ecoware tableware products are made of sugarcane bagasse and are 100 percent biodegradable and safe to use in the pandemic. She has made it to the finals of Earth Company’s Impact Hero 2021. She has been featured on DD News channel as the most focused woman achiever of India. Multiple hospitals and Covid-19 tested positive patients are using biodegradable disposable tableware products so that the contamination of the virus is less. We also arranged an event in collaboration with Medanta hospital for its employee to inform them about how we can fight the pandemic.
We want people to stay safe and healthy by providing 100 percent eco-friendly products. We have sold 99 lakh pieces of eco-friendly tableware products this year and to be more specific we were able to replace 99 lakh single-use plastic pieces with our eco-friendly tableware products. It is a highly proud moment for the organization. This number motivated and encouraged us to increase this number next year. Ecoware promises to keep the environment and people safe and healthy for all the coming years.
