With the announcement of Expo 2020, which is being held in Dubai (United Arab Emirates) from 1 October 2021 to 31 March 2022. With the event’s theme, “Join the Making of a New World,” the Expo proposes the idea of bringing people from all around the world together. The world expo is held every five years which due to covid pandemic got delayed last year. A worldwide gathering of nations dedicated to finding answers to the world’s most pressing concerns by providing engaging and immersive activities.
This platform has become incredibly valuable post the covid outbreak.
What is this year’s theme?
The goal is to get the audience involved in creating a world made for a living. Addressing the subthemes: Opportunity, Mobility, and Sustainability. Simultaneously, we at Ecoware produce disposable tableware in order to make a zero-waste community. The people and the planet program depicts the several challenges and opportunities that are being faced by billions of people living on this planet. Ecoware, India’s first and largest sustainable packaging company, is honored to be a part of this global mega event. Ecoware has been recognized as a Global Innovator by Expo 2020 and received a grant to strengthen its efforts to fight plastic pollution.
This year, as the wind of the gala spreads from the middle east throughout the internet, we may see a brilliant start to global innovation. Millions of people are expected to attend the event and witness the beauty of nature. Ecoware will also be represented by our CEO, Rhea Mazumdar Singhal, who will deliver a TED-style talk and feature on the discussion panel “Turning the tide on single-use plastics” in Dubai during the inaugural Climate & Biodiversity week (Oct 3-9).
What are the major highlights of the event?

Expo 2020 accomplishes a great level of publicity by the eye-catching endeavors for all the global investors to witness. ‘Connecting minds, and creating the future has provided an eye to the audience towards finding natural alternatives.
One of the major highlights of the expo this year would be the panel discussion held on ‘Turning the tide on single-use plastics’ where all the innovators would showcase their contributions to the environment while brainstorming better solutions to environmental concerns. The major goal of this event is to raise awareness about PPP, or the People and Planet Programme. The event’s ultimate focus is to maximize the objective’s potential through collaborative media and communication networks. We will be able to build a community responsible for the betterment of people and the world by disseminating this message to millions of individuals. Developing the community’s ambitious goals into responsible change-makers. With the creation of a new world at this year’s expo, we aspire for a world that is healthier, cleaner, and safer.
