Celebrations, good weather, food, music, people having fun together, the complete aura of weddings hit differently. And, being a foodie never miss out on the weddings. But because of the pandemic, busy schedule, and near deadlines, I thought it would be the right decision not to attend any wedding this time.

One day when I was working on my laptop, an invitation card covered in banana leaf grabbed my attention. The whole wedding details were written so finely on the leaves and left such a great impression on me that I made up my mind and decided to make an exception for this wedding. The wedding was after 20 days, so I completed my work in advance and left for it.

The venue was at a natural park and at the entrance, there was a handwritten chalkboard sign saying “Welcome to our eco-friendly adventure”. All decoration items used were completely recyclable or disposable. The place looked vibrant and organic and the fresh odor of flowers was spreading the positive cheerful vibes everywhere. Bamboo fixtures were used for lighting and coconut shells as planters. The venue was adorned with flowers.

Wedding_EcowareTo give the whole place some vintage look temple bells and some old repurpose furniture were used. I liked the way how they took complete advantage of the venue place and used every single natural element very well. Like, there was an old tall tree which they used as a mandap and existing greenery for the bar section. They even added some fresh fruits to the greenery to give it a unique look. Potted plants were used to decorate the place which the guests could take with them later.

Now coming to my favorite part, the food section. Food counters were decorated with jute fabric rather than using plastic materials. They even made sure to use 100% biodegradable tableware instead of glasses or plastic ones. Disposable plates, bowls, and cups were creatively used to decorate the food corners. For centerpieces, saplings and small fruit buckets were used. The food was made up of organic vegetables and was delicious. Then comes the gifts part. Keeping in mind that it was an eco-friendly theme based wedding, I decided to gift something organic to the newlyweds.

I couldn’t stop myself from complimenting the couple about the unique eco-friendly wedding theme they picked. They explained to me the whole ideology behind keeping this theme was to reduce the consumption of single-use plastic and to reduce plastic pollution. And I must tell they succeeded. The whole wedding made me feel exhilarated and realized how important it is for us to take such precautionary steps for our environment. The eco-friendly wedding was a whole new delighted experience for me.

Decisions like this will help us live a life devoid of waste and plastic! If you also wish to organize such organic eco-friendly events do visit our site www.ecoware.in and check out our 100% biodegradable tableware products.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
